I just did the unthinkable... I've eaten my first peanut butter and jelly sandwich. I never liked the idea of those two together, so I never tried it.
I used to say that the day I ate a peanut butter and jelly sandwich I would have become completely Americanized... I honestly thought that that day would never come, but it just did.
After having accomplished this "milestone" in my Americanization process, -eighteen years in the making, ha,ha,ha-, I just cannot avoid asking myself: what have I become? Is having eaten a peanut butter and jelly sandwich a sign of the completion of my Americanization process?
I retired to the woods to ponder this great question, and I have concluded that I was, probably, suffering from a severe case of laziness; and confronted with the choice between cooking and eating a peanut butter sandwich, I decided that the time had come for me to feel very American.
Jaragana (Asi con J). Entonces yo me americanicé hace mucho tiempo. Ni tan malo son :-)
ResponderEliminarMmmmmmmmm! Not bad. It's like life. All the flavors combined: sweet, sour, salty...
ResponderEliminarjajajajajajaja
ResponderEliminaro como dicen en gabacho
hahahahahahaha
There's nothing wrong with a little PB&J -- as we the Americanized call it.
ResponderEliminarI may be as you say "a severe case of laziness". I love peanut butter. What I don't think I would like is the combination with jelly.
ResponderEliminarI should try it. Americanized? Who knows, it could be!
i like peanut butter even when i thought i never would.
ResponderEliminarMinde change, body change, people change Sonya.
ResponderEliminarI've never tasted it!
Victor Manuel of course there is nothing wrong with it. I like the nickname you 'the americanized' give it. That's cool.
TonEt, I was there with you, but as you can see i crossed over :P. It is not bad at all. Try it -only if you are ready -it took me 18 years :P.
Ginnette,
De uvas. ¡Divina ella! Go for it -if you are ready, jejejeje.
Abrazos y mil gracias por acompañarme!
A severe case of laziness? Yep - your an American now!!
