Réquiem por Trujillo
La universidad SUNY College at Old Westbury presentará una conferencia de dos días titulada Réquiem por Trujillo. El primer dia de la conferencia será en dicha universidad apartir de 1:45 de la tarde. El orador estrella será el escritor peruano Mario Vargas Llosa, autor del libro La fiesta del Chivo. Luego habrá una cena, seguida de una representación teatral de La fiesta del Chivo a cargo de Repertorio Español. El segundo día será en el Instituto Cervantes de la Ciudad de Nueva York. Además de Vargas Llosa, estarán presentes el Dr. Silvio Torres-Saillant Director y fundador del CUNY Dominican Studies Program, Jorge Alí de Triana director de La fiesta del Chivo, varios catedráticos del área metropolitana de Nueva York y países extranjeros.
